Programs

T&C Soccer offers a variety of programs for players aged 3 to 18 years, from Recreational (U4-U19) to Academy (U8-U10) and Select (U11-U19).

Recreational

The Recreational program is the foundation of soccer at T&C. Within this program there are two distinct divisions; D4 for U4 – U10 players and D3 for U11-U19.

Recreational soccer emphasizes the FUNdamentals and instruction, while developing character traits like teamwork and good sportsmanship. There are no tryouts for Recreational teams, players are assigned based on their school, zip code or friend requests. Teams practice once or twice-a-week depending on their age and are coached by parent volunteers. For more information click here.

Academy

Academy is the second step on the Player Development Pathway at T&C Soccer. This program is designed for players who are looking for more in terms of competition and development.

Children participating in the Academy will be placed on teams according to their skill level. Teams are formed during the first week of the season. Academy teams are coached by our trainers. For more information click here.

Select

Select is the highest level of play at T&C Soccer, providing an opportunity for players to challenge themselves in a competitive, developmental environment. This program consists of Premier (paid trainer) and Competitive (parent coach) teams.

Players must attend a tryout to be placed on a Select team. We have teams competing at various levels of play within Central Texas. For more information click here.

Rec. Skills Training

Rec. Skills Training is available to all players who register to play Soccer at T&C. This age appropriate, developmental program runs for a total of 6 weeks throughout the regular season. It is designed to provide players with the technical skills they require in order to enjoy the game to its fullest.

These training sessions are ran by paid trainers, however we are always welcome to parent coaches assisting also. Skills Training days, times and locations for your child are displayed in the chart below.

T&C Sports

The Town & Country Optimist Club is a nonprofit organization formed in 1974 by a group of North Austin parents to offer youth sports. The Club promotes the ideals of Optimist International and supports the North Austin area by providing quality youth sports facilities and programs. Club goals are to provide opportunities for all who wish to participate and to promote an environment of learning and sportsmanship in all activities. The Club also supports youth development through involvement in selected youth-oriented community activities.
