One of the goals for our flag football league is for kids to get to play with friends, as well as to meet new friends to deliver a memorable experience for our Central Texas football community. The flag football program is open to both boys and girls. The league offers recreational play with emphasis on fundamental skills.

Seniors (5th and 6th Graders):
More complex playbook execution and defensive schemes are stressed for this age-group. 6 games per season plus Playoffs.
Each team will have at least six players. No team will have more than ten players. Coaches will strive to provide players with equal distribution of playing time. Volunteer coaches draft players to their teams, but we will honor friend, carpool and coach requests as best we can.
Pre-Season Camp is a great opportunity for new and returning players to hone their skills in preparation for the upcoming season. Players will be introduced to fundamentals such as proper ball exchange at the line of scrimmage, receiving skills and passing mechanics. These fundamentals will be reinforced through age-appropriate drills. Players will enjoy opportunities to execute plays with emphasis on fundamentals and route running. Lastly, players put these skills into action through scrimmage by age group.
Practice is at least once a week for 60 to 90 minutes at the T&C Sports football fields. Practices fields are available between 5:30pm-7:30pm Mondays through Wednesdays. Each volunteer head coach will coordinate day/time with team parents.
What to bring to practice:
- Athletic shorts (Without pockets)
- Athletic shoes (Cleats preferred)
- Water Bottle(s) (Water breaks)
- Receiver Gloves (Not required)
- Wet/Dry Towels (Recommended to stay cool/dry off)
There will be six regular season games. Games are approximately 1-hour; comprised of twenty-minute halves with five minute half-time. Game starts are generally around 6pm, 7pm and 8pm each evening. Rookies and Juniors will play in the earlier time slots. Make-up games due to rain outs will be scheduled on Fridays or Saturdays; whichever is the next available game day. Junior and Senior Divisions will have playoff week after the end of the regular season. All games will be held at the T&C Sports campus.
