The Pre-Season Camp is a great opportunity for new and returning players to hone their skills in preparation for the Fall Season. Players will be introduced to fundamentals such as proper ball exchange at the line of scrimmage, receiving skills, and passing mechanics. These fundamentals will be reinforced through age-appropriate drills. Players will enjoy opportunities to execute plays with emphasis on fundamentals and route running. Lastly, players put these skills into action through scrimmage by age group.
Player Jersey, Shorts, Flags, and practice balls will be provided by the league. Mouthguard and athletic closed-toe shoes are required for each game. Shorts (without pockets) are required for each practice. Cleats and receiving gloves recommended (metal cleats not permitted)
All practices will be held on the T&C campus. Once teams are selected, specific practice times will be determined by each team’s head coach.
There will be six regular-season games on Thursday evenings. Games are approximately 1-hour; comprised of twenty (20) minute halves with five (5) minute half-time. Games start as early as 5:30pm. No games start after 8:30pm. Rookies and Juniors will play in the earlier time slots. Seniors play in the later time slots. Weather make-up games will be scheduled on the next available game day. Junior and Senior Divisions have a Playoff Weekend at the end of the season. All games will be held on T&C’s campus.
