Select is the highest level of play at T&C Soccer. It consists of two main programs; Premier and Competitive. All players must tryout and be invited to a Select Soccer team.

PREMIER
Premier is our paid trainer model that sits at the top of our Player Development Pathway. Within this program we have teams competing at various levels of play locally and regionally.
Our Premier teams currently compete in ECNL – RL STXCL, WDDOA and CAYSA league play. During the Spring many of our teams will comepte in the various STX Cup competitions (State Cup, Presidents Cup, Directors Cup, South Texas Cup). Premier Program Details
- Annual Soccer program (18 weeks Fall & 18 weeks Spring).
- Blue teams practice three times a week with a paid trainer.
- White teams practice twice a week with a paid trainer.
- Goalkeeper training once-a-week for 16 weeks per season.
- Access to VEO match recordings and analytics for team and players.
- Coaches work from the US Soccer Coaching Curriculum map and The Coaching Manual.
- Players are required to purchase the full uniform package ($225 approx.).
- Players are encouraged to add warm-ups to their uniform package.
- Players must wear uniform to practice.
- Teams plan to attend at least 2 tournaments per season*
- Teams compete in ECNL – RL STXCL, STXCL Western, WDDOA or CAYSA leagues during the Fall & Spring seasons playing approximately 16 games.
- Teams compete in Spring Cup Play (State Cup, Presidents Cup, Directors Cup) playing a minimum 3 games with a chance to advance
- Every team has a parent Team Manager to assist the Coach with admin duties.
- Teams are encouraged to participate in additional off-season team events such as Camps, Futsal, Indoor, etc.
- Preseason workouts begin with an Everton FC (English Premier League) Advanced Training Camp, this is an additional cost that teams are encouraged to attend.
*Tournaments are an additional cost to the parent, team registration is roughly $750/tournament split between all the parents on the roster, plus coaches expenses. These fees are typically somewhere around $60 per family per tournament, as teams get older and more competitive these fees may increase slightly with out of town travel and hotel expenses.

FAQs
How does this program differ from the Competitive program?
Premier is a year-round program, 18 weeks Fall and 18 weeks Spring, all teams are coached by paid trainers. Competitive is a seasonal program lasting 13 weeks long, all teams are coached by parent volunteers.
Can I try out for a team?
Yes, any player from any club can tryout for an Premier team.

COMPETITIVE
Our Competitive teams at have been around for many years, they are built upon the foundation of what makes T&C so great, the volunteers! This program sits adjacent to the Premier program on the Player Development Pathway and is built upon the volunteer coach model.

T&C Soccer teams compete in local area leagues and are coached by parent volunteers. All coaches must pass necessary background checks enforced by the state and complete necessary courses to obtain a KidSafe badge for that season.

Competitive Program Details

FAQs
How does this program differ from the current Competitive program?
The Premier program offers more to it’s players, it’s a professional-level approach to player and team development, it is designed to add another level of play to T&C Soccer. The current competitive program does not include paid professional training for every practice and every game whereas the Premier program does, it also offers many more perks which are listed above in the program details.
Can I try out for a team?
Yes, any player from any club can tryout for an Premier team providing they are born in 2009 – 2011
How much does it cost?
Player fees for T&C Premier teams is $1250 per competitive year (August through May)
What is included in my fees?
Seasonal training twice a week for 18 weeks, 8-10 weeks of Skills Training per season, access to weekly Futsal pick-up games throughout the season, Fall and Spring league play and Spring Cup play.
What do I have to pay extra for?
