Thank you for your interest in becoming a licenses soccer official through South Texas Soccer Referee (STSR). Here you will find information and a guide to become a referee. The minimum age to acquire a license is 13 years of age. Please click on the links in blue to find more information

Step 1: Register online at the STSR Home Page (stxref.org)

South Texas Soccer Referees (STSR) is the official State Referee Committee for the United States Soccer Referee Program. The committee is responsible for the administration of the Referee Program including Registration, Development and Assignment and serves those associations affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation in South Texas.

Step 2: Submit Completed Referee License Certification

Send a copy of your completed soccer referee completed certification along with the full name, email address and phone number of the referee to Rob Cowart at soccer@tandcsports.org.

Step 3: Assignor Onboarding

Upon receipt of the referee certificate by T&C Soccer, you will receive an email from Assignr.com with instructions to upload the referees W2 and Banking information. T&C Soccer uses direct deposit when distributing payroll to their officials.

Step 4: Referee Availability

Once your information is updated into the Assignr System, please click on “My Availability” on the left side of the screen to advise the T&C Soccer Assignor what schedule (days & times) you are available to officiate. DO NOT enter a date/time you know you cannot work. Declined games MUST have a written comment or email as to the nature of the decline.
