The NEXT 50 Capital Campaign Vision

Campaign Goal: Raise $12 million to cover construction of the KMAC Indoor Sports Complex and significant campus upgrades.

As part of our ongoing commitment to growth and excellence, we are launching the NEXT 50 Capital Campaign to build a brighter future for our community. This campaign seeks to expand and improve our facilities, ensuring that T&C Sports remains a vital resource for Austin’s youth for years to come.

The NEXT 50 Capital Campaign will fund critical upgrades to our 90-acre campus, including the construction of indoor game courts and improvements across our existing outdoor facilities.

Indoor KMAC Sports Complex

Phase One – breaking ground early 2026: The heart of our NEXT 50 Capital Campaign is the development of a new indoor complex featuring basketball, volleyball, and futsal courts. This facility will provide: Year-round opportunities for practices, games, and camps.

Facility Upgrades Across the 90-Acre Campus:

  • Improved Sports Fields: Enhanced turf, irrigation systems, and general maintenance for optimal playing conditions.
  • New Lighting: High-efficiency lighting for nighttime practices and games, providing a safer and more enjoyable experience for players and spectators.
  • Upgraded Restrooms: Modern and accessible facilities for athletes, families, and visitors.
  • Improved Safety: Upgraded parking lots, signage, and fencing.
  • Family Enhancements: Children’s playground, walking paths, and gathering pavilion.
  • Championship Soccer Field: Showcase soccer field for community engagement.
  • Improved Technology: Campus-wide WiFi, charging stations, and remote controlled systems.

New Staff & Sports Meeting Building:

  • A modern, larger facility to meet growing administrative and programmatic needs.

We are offering naming rights for key facilities and areas across our campus, allowing donors to leave a lasting legacy within the community. This includes naming rights for:

Mission: T&C Sports’ mission is to give kids and families a great experience through youth sports. We offer fun, safe and affordable team sports for boys and girls from pre-k through high school. We provide recreational and competitive leagues to encourage kids of all abilities regardless of income. We strive to develop the lifetime values of sportsmanship, teamwork and physical fitness. And like our motto says, we want our kids to Play Hard, Play Fair, and Have Fun.

For over 50 years, Town and Country Optimist has served as a hub for youth sports in the Austin community, providing children from all backgrounds the opportunity to participate in a variety of athletic programs. With a commitment to excellence and community-building, T&C Sports has become a place where children can learn vital life skills, foster relationships, and develop their athletic abilities.

Our Programs & Impact

Serving OVER 8,000 Youth Annually:

We serve more than 8,000 kids each year. Our own sports leagues register over 5,000 kids annually, and we provide field space for another 3,000 kids who play on local club teams at T&C.

Diverse Opportunities:

Our programs cater to all skill levels, offering recreational leagues for beginners and competitive teams for those looking to hone their skills. This variety ensures that every child has the opportunity to engage in sports and learn essential life skills.

Volunteer-Driven:

The success of our programs is made possible by the tireless dedication of volunteer coaches, board members, and parents. These volunteers create a strong, connected community around each sport, ensuring that all participants feel valued and supported.

Facilities:

T&C Sports operates a 90-acre campus featuring 30 playing fields, including specialized areas such as futsal courts and the Miracle League Field, designed to accommodate children with special needs.
