T&C Flag Football
T&C’s NFL Flag Football is a recreational, co-ed program offered in the spring and fall seasons for 1st to 6th Graders. Emphasis is on age-appropriate fundamentals.
Flag Football is coed and open to 1st-6th graders. Registration includes one weekly practice at T&C (Monday to Wednesdays). Games are played on Thursday evenings. Season fees and important dates can be found in the charts below.
Registration fees include:
- Jersey, shorts, and flags
- Weekly practice at T&C Complex
- 7-8 games (Regular Season plus Playoffs)

- $40 ($10 discount if registering for season & camp)
- 9:30-12:00pm
- Skills training for new & returning players

Registration fee includes a NFL Flag uniform (jersey and shorts), one weekly practice at T&C Fields and 7-8 games (regular season plus playoffs).
PRE-SEASON CAMP:
The Pre-Season camp is a great opportunity for new and returning players to hone their skills in preparation for the Spring Season. Players will be introduced to fundamentals such as proper ball exchange at the line of scrimmage, receiving skills and passing mechanics. These fundamentals will be reinforced through age-appropriate drills. Players will enjoy opportunities to execute plays with emphasis on fundamentals and route running. Lastly, players put these skills into action through scrimmage by age group.
EQUIPMENT:
Player Jersey, Shorts, Flags, and practice balls will be provided by the league. Mouthguard and athletic closed-toe shoes are required for each game. Shorts (without pockets) are required for each practice. Molded cleats and receiving gloves are recommended (metal cleats not permitted).
PRACTICES:
All practices will be held on T&C campus. Practice fields are available Mon-Wed from 5:30-7:30pm. Once teams are selected, a team’s practice time will be determined by its head coach. Parents may select one practice day that is inconvenient for their family during registration. There are no guarantees, but T&C will do its best to place players on teams that avoid the opt-out practice day.
GAMES:
There will be 7-8 games (regular season plus playoffs) each season. Games are held on Thursday evenings on T&C Field 2. Rain out games will be played on the next available good weather day. Games are approximately 1-hour; comprised of twenty (20) minute halves with five (5) minute half-time. Game starts are 6:15pm, 7:15 pm and 8:15pm each evening. Rookies and Juniors will play in the earlier time slots.
