What is “Sixes”

Sixes is a variation of Girls’ Lacrosse that will be played in the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics. Sixes is a super fun and a great way to learn lacrosse, improve skills and be part of the next big thing to hit the game of lacrosse.  This variation of lacrosse uses a smaller sided field with fewer players (5 field players plus one goalie) and some changes to the way the game is played. The younger ages play with no goalkeeper; in the older divisions all players will have the opportunity to try the goalie position.

Our Mission

To be a lacrosse center of excellence for Northwest Austin and surrounding communities that provides a high-quality educational experience to every athlete. A high-quality educational experience is one in which every player:

  • Has fun playing the game
  • Feels she is an important part of the team, regardless of performance
  • Learns “life lessons” that have value beyond the playing field
  • Develops as an athlete with a deepening understanding of the skills, tactics and strategies of the game
  • Strikes a balance between competitive play and personal development such that she is prepared for the next level of competition

Town & Country Lacrosse teams work towards excellence through:

  • Limited team size (< 20 players) to maximize individual playing time and learning opportunities
  • More experienced Coaches, with USA Lacrosse Certification, to ensure the highest quality educational experience for your daughter
  • Group practice methodology, defined in collaboration with local high school coaches, assures that each player experiences a top notch curriculum
  • Updated facilities with the latest in training and conditioning equipment
